Happy February

 Quiet My movie is Playing!!

Been a really cold 2011 so far. We have had several snow or cold days off. NeVaeh is just getting over a long stretch of some kind of gastrointestonal flue bug or something. she had 10 days of watery stools. Knock on wood. Its 1:00pm and none today so far. Hopefully its done. All the lab test came back normal and she's acting normal but what's coming out isn't. Poor kids is getting bad case of cabin fever. She will be over joyed to get back to school on Monday as long as her tummy behaves!

So exciting the school has purchased an IPad so they are trialing it with her and letting her get used to  using it . The ST said it will most likely take a couple years for her to actually use it functionally for communication but she is finally getting exposed to it and the new high tech programs. I understand it will take her a long time to actually know how to use it but she also has some nice programs downloaded on it to enhance her learning in school. Its pretty exciting.

We have to get her Valentines together for school so she can  take them next week also. Next month will be her Birthday. Hard to believe she will be 7 years old. So hard to figure out what to buy her. She is really a  difficult child to get something she actually likes. She likes certain movies and toys. Other toys just collect dust. Guess I will be trying to figure something fun out for  her. She loves things to enhance her sensory with music and lights. Just when I think I got something that she will love she doesn't touch it. She loved the Elmo microwave for Christmas.
