So Actual Summer isn't here but summer vacation is and the kids have adjusted to it....no school :) well mostly. NeVaeh started last week ESY three  days a week. The other two just get brief refreshers of an hour one day a week for 8 weeks. The weather is a merry go round with hot, cold, rain..hmm turned the air on for two days now lol. We went to CincoDeMayo fest at the Falls one weekend (actually before school was completely out) the kids enjoyed it...except NeVaeh wasn't' real keen with the loud music. Who would have guessed lol.
The younger two love playing outside almost all day long. NeVaeh is getting the hang of riding her Trike too so she spends some time outside.
Late August we will go back to Milwaukee for a follow up for Aaliyah. She gets an angiogram of her head and to see Dr Lew to see how her surgery she had last fall took.
Summer is filled with lots of Doctor appointments for all three kids. Lots of NeVaeh's specialists are now annually so we go in the summer for them. Andres will have a MRI next Friday just to check to make sure his brain looks good. Theres a tiny chance Moyamoya disease can be inherited so we just want this done for peace of mind.

NeVaehs Birthday and Easter

NeVaeh turned 11 in March!
Life happens and this blog is the last thing that gets done lol
In March our beautiful daughter turned 11. Don't want to miss showing some pictures we took of her for her birthday and Easter.
We had a simple party with cake and a few gifts....NeVaeh style :)

The school year went fast. All the kids did well this year. Here are  a few easter photos Dan took and one we had professionally done which really didn't turn out well. The gal did some photo shop thing to put NeVaeh with the other two...I don't think it looks quite right.

Since I worked on Easter we had ours the day after and invited our next door neighbers to celebrate with us and had an egg hunt with them (My little brother and family).

It has been so long since I put a post in here!
We are still kicking.
The past few months we celebrated Christmas and the new year and are almost to NeVaeh's 11th Birthday!

The two youngest have their ups and downs with behaviors. For the most part they take turns. We run into a road block of Andre's meds really not working anymore so we did a ....gulp big med change right after Christmas. I truly believe only someone who has lived the day in and out with a child with severe ADHD and seen the behaviors could appreciate the statement...."its been a rocky few months."
I think things are getting back kind of to a happy medium. I feel so bad that his world just doesn't function without some meds to help him function and go on with daily routines but He's a wonderful child and will get through it.
Little fire cracker is healed from her surgery. She just had a 6 month MRI that shows her brain is now stable. We need to go to Milwaukee in August to have another angiogram to see how well her blood flow  has improved. Her behaviors are however all over the place. We will manage. Some days things are just too much stimulation. She is very head strong and doesn't' want anyone telling her what to do but at the end of the day she loves to snuggle and giggle and makes it all better :)

NeVaeh is par for the course. She is thriving in school. Her Talk tablet app is full of tons of words and we even bought her a ipod so she can carry it around her neck for a more portable communication when we go out. She is a happy go lucky child as ever. Has been well. Next week she turns 11. Wow things really get busy with three. I need to find more time to keep up with my blog!
